James and Stephanie have been married since 2007 and have three beautiful children who keep them on their toes. Stephanie was a commercial property manager and hobby crafter exploring knitting, crochet and quilting. While learning to knit lace shawls she discovered seed beads and a whole new world was opened up to her. James was an avionics technician in the U.S. Navy, a hobby musician, woodworker and attempted gamer. About 10 months away from his 20 year retirement he started looking for his next job. Most of the jobs available required frequent travel, so Stephanie suggested looking for a business to buy. While looking, James found Gem and Bead Mall for sale and sent Stephanie a link to the listing. Stephanie saw the potential it had and immediately fell in love with the business.
